The Cameroon community at EMU comprises 8.26% of the student body. (For specific statistics refer to the International Students Office).
The Cameroon Student's Association at EMU works for and with EMU's international students, striving to promote cultural diversity on campus. We are currently registered under the International Student Association in EMU but our activities are intended for other student associations and community as well.
Although most of our members are Cameroon students, Camess welcomes and encourages International students to join.
Activities
Camess' activities are aimed at expressing the large cultural diversity that exist in North Cyprus as a whole, and in EMU particularly.
- Bringing together Cameroonians from different and diverse backgrounds under a strong and united banner (CAMESS).
- Serving as the link between Cameroon students and EMU.
- Organization of academic and knowledge enhancing conferences and seminars.
- Fun-Filled trips around the North Cyprus area for multicultural Bonding.
- Show Casing and promoting the culture of Cameroon in North Cyprus

Do you want to participate in Camess? There are many things you can do!
- Contribute with ideas and propose activities, we'll try to implement and sponsor them so you can help us grow.
- Volunteer to help us during events. It's a great way to meet other Cameroonians and International Students

- You can become an Executive Committee Member
- Elections for all positions in the board are held at the end of each academic year
